Celeb to Binbo Taro Final Review

Another one finished (actually last week already :P)

There are the last 2 episodes left to review. I figured that I neglected you with Sachiko pics so I'll change it this time :P

So the exsoontobehusband-ex-bf destroyed Alices company and all are poor now. Sachiko is in the company looking at the wedding dress. There she meets Kotoda by chance. As the moving people trample on the dress Sachiko isn't very happy:

She gives him a big slap, but then he asks her for a favour. We do not get to know what it is, but soon we'll see what changed. But first we are introduced to all the jobs the others have to do. Sachikos dad for instance is now partime worker in a restaurant and so on. Alice and her mother as well as the 2 employes are working in a bar nowadays:

Alice and her mother have to get along now as singers :P

Although Gunji tries to change the situation by visiting Gotoda. Tehre he meets his new secretary:

Yes Sachiko is now his secretary, and I have to say looking kakkoi. And she'll have the chance to wear some nicer dresses too :)
It turns out Gotoda will set up an auction for the family collection he "got" from Alice:

Gotoda says that he will make the money out of it a present for the kids of the world (or so I got it). Gunji in the meantime tries to figure out what Gotoda plans but is scouted by Sachiko. As repayment for Gotoda he has to spy on the Alice faction. They gathered around to reclaim their properties.

Here we see Gunji reporting to Gotoda in episode 11:

The auction about the collection is all faked. As the poor people mimic some foreigners betting for the stuff to raise the price for Gotoda. In the end they get him to buy it. As he tells them he knows all already all think they have lost. But Sachiko turns out to have helped the Alice faction all the way. And so Gotoda looses the money due to some trick :P

Oh I forgot, Taro accidentely confesses his love for Alice to Sachiko, who is not really excited to hear that:

Nevertheless, Sachiko rest herself on Taros shoulder for a while after the auction.
(So to say as last rest on the beloved shoulder):

Sadly Alice sees this and draws wrong conclusions. To celebrate the victory Taro holds a big firework. Alice is invited but decides pretty late to show up. When she arrives an accident has already happened. One of the fireworks exploded and Taro is missing.
So what are ya doing first? Yes hold a funeral even though the body isn't found .... (weird). So everybody get's a chance to summarize their time with Taro.

Of course Taro survived and jumps into the funeral. So everybody is happy. In the end Taro has to be pushed to confess his love again, as Alice will go to London.
Lucky for him Alice is convinced by (of course the good hearted) Sachiko that Taro loves him. So when he returns home, Santa is visiting:

So we get the necessary Happy end for a show ending on Christmas.

What is my summary? I have to say that Aya is much better in shows where she can play funny and bratty characters, insted of shows with sad stuff (like Hokaben etc.). The guy who played Taro fitted the part of the binbo guy not too good for my view. You can see how he has to hide the way he is in reality all the time.
Kuninaka Ryoko however is imho the bright star in this show. Sadly she does not have the main lead here. You can count her in as the nice loving girl next door caring for her Taro-chan al the time. And besides she really looks gorgeous all the time :P.
The other sidekicks of the story play their part really well and fit in the plot.
Overall the show would be a 9/10 if you like the cast if not it might be a bit lower ^^.
